Face yoga with Pia

Face yoga is doing yoga with your face. It trains your facial muscles, boost muscle mass, support liquid flow and blood circulation, release tension and relax your mind. It leaves you with glowing de-puffed skin, toned and lifted profile, less wrinkles and a relaxed mind.

It’s easy to do wherever and whenever. Only few minutes per day can be enough as long as u do it daily.

In this video Pia shows you some of her favorite exercises and explains them further below.

Instructions

  1. Patpat for frown lines: Gently pat your fingertips between your eyebrows, use quick yet light, upward movements. This releases the tension between brows, and speeds blood circulation to the area which eases the wrinkles

  2. Patpat for eyes: Gently pat your undereyes with your fingertips, use quick yet light movement, be careful with your nails. This speeds up the lymph flow and is depuffing.

  3. Mid face lift: This brings lift to your cheeks and defines your jawline

  4. Pat pat for mid face: Pat your midface, use most of your finger tips, do quick, upward/lifting movements. This makes your skin glow and supports your profile.

  5. Neck stretch: This makes your neck longs and helps tensions, it also helps to double chin and facial posture.

KORPIA Face Yoga. Ever since I was 13 years old we kept girls beauty evening with my grandmother where we pampered ourselves. One of the rituals was face massaging and stretching - and I loved how they made me feel. Many years later, on one grey day, while I was pregnant and felt nothing but glowing, I remembered my grandmothers teachings and started to do the exercises again. This time it became a serious love affair. I didn't only feel much more relaxed but saw my skin becoming healthy, my profile more defined, and the forehead wrinkles were significantly reduced.
