5 Tips on staying healthy during the fall
It is getting a bit colder now that fall is here. For many women, it can be more difficult to keep up the workout routine when they are into the full work routine and busy family life. Here are 5 tips to help and to encourage you to keep on going strong in your workouts and to stay healthy during the fall months.
Be constant with your workouts
When life gets busy, working out sometimes comes last. Keep showing up on the mat, even think about booking it as a meeting in your calendar.
Prioritize yourself when life gets busy
When life gets busy make sure you don't forget about yourself and prioritizing working out, eating healthy, and getting 'me-time'.
Set a goal
Simple, but very effective. What do you want to achieve with your body or health? Write it down, tell a friend, and work constantly towards it throughout this fall. Check out our blog on setting and reaching your health and fitness goals.
Working out with kids around
If you have kids, use the opportunity if the kids are asleep, playing peacefully, or when the partner takes them out to play, and squeeze a short workout into your day.
Get some fresh air
The fall is one of the most beautiful seasons of them all. Take long walks in nature or go for a run. Read our blog about outdoor activities.
Find a way that works for you but do your very best to stay active! You will have more energy, feel healthier, and automatically want to eat healthier choices which is a huge bonus.
Hi! I'm Sara, the founder of Withsara. I have been a fitness group instructor, Barre teacher and Yoga teacher for over 10 years. I am also a certified Nutritional Health Coach from IIN in New York, USA.
After giving birth to my two beautiful daughters, I have had to build up my body twice after my pregnancies. With my experience, I have created a workout that is a great combination of low impact, functional movement, pilates, barre, and yoga. It builds up deep core strength, creates sustainable and lasting change, relieves physical tension and mental stress, and gives you an overall healthier and happier body.
