Raw chocolate balls

The perfect Chocolate Balls to eat before your period

When you are about to have your period and the craving kicks in, these chocolate balls are the perfect treat! They’re quick to make and contain high-quality fat from nuts, ghee, and cacao. And, they might actually reduce your PMS.

Cacao contains several nutrients that have been shown to relieve and prevent various PMS symptoms such as sore breasts, sweet tooth, and cramps. In addition, cocoa contains the amino acid tryptophan, which can increase our feelings of well-being. So maybe it's not so strange that our bodies crave this in phase 3 (before your period).

Also, these Chocolate Balls don’t contain caffeine like the classic ones. Instead, they are flavored with Chicca Roast from Womesync, a caffeine-free alternative from 100% organic roasted chicory root. The flavor is similar to coffee but is sweeter and the taste is more caramel-like.

Many women who suffer from PMS and other menstrual-related symptoms have reported that reducing their caffeine intake has made a big difference in their well-being. If you want to learn more about your menstrual cycle, and hormone health (and try the heavenly-tasting Chicca Roast), head over to Womensync.se or check out their Instagram.
