Raw balls made from dates and cashews

Are you in the mood for something sweet but want to avoid refined sugar? Then we suggest you try these raw balls made from dates and cashews and are packed with nutrients, fiber and antioxidants. It is the perfect afternoon treat or why not a pre-workout snack? They are easy to make, only natural sugar, and have a long shelf life. Ingredients

  • 175 g dried dates

  • 1 lemon (zest)

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 150 g cashews

  • 40 g chia seeds

  • 30 g of coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor. The easiest way is to grate the lemon zest before squeezing the lemon juice.

  2. Create bite-sized balls.

  3. Roll the date balls in coconut flakes and keep them in the fridge.
