It’s been one year

It has been one year since our start, and we've come a long way since launching Withsara during Covid quarantine in Iceland. The whole world was at a standstill and going to the studio or the gym was not an option. I realized if I could share my workouts with the women around me, they could experience a studio workout in their living rooms.

One year later, thousands of women from over 40 countries have signed up for Withsara. What started as a way for a few women to get a workout in during lockdown has now transformed into something bigger and more meaningful than I ever imagined. So, on this anniversary, I wanted to write down my vision of Withsara's purpose and use this moment to refresh the look and feel of the site so that it reflects that: Your new workout space.

You are a new mom, building a family, a home, or a career. As we all struggle to keep up, learning to prioritize ourselves and taking the time to care for ourselves is not only lovely, it’s essential.  Withsara is your workout space to accomplish just that.

Your Space
We want Withsara to be a space for you to experience a sense of calmness. Entering the website to take a class should feel like walking into a beautiful studio, instantly inspiring and motivating you to work towards your goal.

Your Balance
Balance means to remain upright, steady and consistent. We want to help you create a sustainable and lasting change that will help you feel and look your best: balanced workout routine, balanced diet, balanced life.

Your Guide
When you step on to the mat I want you to feel like we are in the same space, and give you the best class possible and personally guide you through class, no matter your experience level.

Thank you for your continuous support as Withsara has grown and expanded during the year. Our members are our number one priority, and we are excited to continue to help you on your health and fitness journey.

Hi! I'm Sara, the founder of Withsara. I have been a fitness group instructor, Barre teacher and Yoga teacher for over 10 years. I am also a certified Nutritional Health Coach from IIN in New York, USA.

After giving birth to my two beautiful daughters, I have had to build up my body twice after my pregnancies. With my experience, I have created a workout that is a great combination of low impact, functional movement, pilates, barre, and yoga. It builds up deep core strength, creates sustainable and lasting change, relieves physical tension and mental stress, and gives you an overall healthier and happier body.
