Blueberry protein smoothie
Eating protein is a great way to start the day, as it keeps you full longer and your blood sugar and insulin levels from rising too high. It is also great as a post workout smoothie to help you build muscles.
Combining protein with extra sweet and tasty flavours like blueberries and raspberries, is a great way to get a serving of essential minerals and vitamins.
Ingredients

1 banana
1 dl Raspberries
1 dl blueberries
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 scoop of plant based protein powder (vanilla flavour)
2 dl almond milk
2 tablespoons collagen
1 tablespoon flax seeds
(opt. topping 1 teaspoon chia seeds)
The peanut butter will give you some extra protein, heart healthy fats, and essential fibers, vitamins and minerals.
In addition, collagen, will also help increase muscle mass, prevent bone loss, relieve joint pain, and improve skin health.
And the best part of this smoothie is that it has minimal ingredients, yet packs a lot of nutrition into one serving.
